During the second quarter of 2022, the shooter game category on the Android platform in Egypt saw notable performances from the top 5 games. According to Sensor Tower data, these games demonstrated varied trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

PUBG MOBILE from Level Infinite maintained strong weekly revenue, peaking at around $54.9K in late April and gradually declining to approximately $39.6K by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant peak of 93.9K in mid-May before stabilizing around 67.8K to 81.3K towards the end of the quarter. Active users started at 1.5M in late March, dipped to 1.2M in early May, and then rose to 1.4M by the end of June.

Free Fire: 7th Anniversary from Garena International I saw consistent weekly revenue, with a notable increase to $4.5K in the last week of June. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 100.5K in late March and ending at 62K by the end of June. Meanwhile, active users peaked at 1.4M in late June, up from 1.1M in early May.
